Following a successful career as a consultant winemaker, Giovanni Bortoluzzi selected a few ideally located vineyards on the gravelly, mineral enriched deposit of the diverted Isonzo River. Today, the estate covers 70 hectares (35 under vine) and Giovanni has been joined by sons Alessio (winemaker) and Alberto (vineyard manager) and daughter Angela (administration) in crafting an impeccably pure range of classic Friuli varieties that offer great value for money.
