This variety used to be called Tocai Friulano, but the Italians were forced to change the name to comply with EU regulations to avoid confusion with Tokaji from Hungary. Medium to full-bodied, with floral notes of wildflowers and hay, the palate is round with gentle acidity. Great with the local prosciutto San Daniele.
