Lagrein, native to Alto Adige, is a late harvesting variety that grows
best on the gravel soils around Egna and Bolzano. Aged 15 months in old
barriques, it is a deep and intense red with floral notes of violets, red
fruits, spice and cocoa, the tannins velvety with refreshing
acidity. Lagrein is great partner to meat dishes and cheeses.
