Found mostly in Campania but planted throughout the South, Falanghina is the oldest grape in Italy, famous for Falerno and recorded back to the first century. Late ripening and medium bodied with aromas of apple, honeysuckle and tropical fruit, it is capable of ageing well and is superb with the local specialty, mozzarella di bufala.
