Torrette is made mostly from Petit Rouge (by law must be a ninmum of
70%) and other varieties. Elio's version is 80% Petit Rouge with 10%
each of two other local grapes, Fumin and Cornalin. Aged for 8 months in
botti, this is elegant with juicy red berry fruit and spice and a crisp,
refreshing palate. Great with the local ham!
