The 2015 Barbaresco Maria di Brun, the estate's flagship, is also the most
powerful Barbaresco in the range. The 2015 is going to need a few years to shed
some of its formidable tannin, but it is likely to always remain dense and a bit
monolithic. A rush of red cherry, pomegranate, raspberry jam, rose petal and
spice build as this unctuous, full-bodied Barbaresco shows off its personality.
This dense, tannic Barbaresco holds a good bit of promise. 93 points, Antonio
